DIVE IN - Bungy Jumping with a dip into the water

the wet adventure

Even the indigenous people of the southern pacific island Vanuatu, the origin of modern Bungy Jumping, had only one goal in their ritual:

» Getting as close to the ground as possible, or even touching it «

Nothing has changed about that until today. The real fascination of Bungy Jumping is to throw yourself down from a decent height and to get as close as possible to the ground (water).
For safety reasons, this is only possible on jumping sites over water.

WE DON'T LEAVE YOU HANGING 30 METERS OR MORE ABOVE THE GROUND!

At Jauntal Bungy the Drau, a 150 meter wide and 5-19 meter deep river, is running smoothly and slowly underneath the jumpers as it is close to a dam here.
The perfect conditions for a Bungy Jump with dive in.
In this case, the length of the rope is calculated according to the weight so that you get dipped into the water up to your waist when you jump.

jump into the wet feeling.....

... the dipping, however, is completely hazard-free since the impact on the water surface is equivalent to a head dive from a height of about 2m ;-)
At this point you are shortly before being sprung back up and are accordingly slow!
After the dip you're on your way back up 55m towards the bridge with full speed...
